Leonie Hossli was born and raised in the countryside of Switzerland. She likes red things, blue skies, woolen pants, cold swims, harvesting grapes, building chairs and sitting on floors. As a textile design student in Luzern, she is currently exploring the world of textiles, art and design. She is fascinated by materials, colors, shapes and patterns which surround her. In her work, she likes to reflect on current themes or refer to historical contexts. She gets inspired by traditional crafts as well as contemporary art, nature and pop culture.
